Antique Victorian Embossed Die Cut Outs - for crafts, artwork, cards

This is a largish lot of original embossed Victorian die cut out figures and animals. These were very popular in the Victorian era for making cards, especially Valentines cards.

There are 22 pieces in total - 12 figures and 10 animal and butterfly figures. The figures are about 5 inches tall and the animals are about 2 inches tall. These are original to the period and not reproduction. Some of the figures have pieces glued to the back so they could be articulated and made to move when the cards were made.

A nice selection of different figures from fancy ladies to aboriginals to soldiers.
